NAZCA line points towards Cahokia archaeological site site in USA From the NAZCA plain the line directs towards Cahokia near the city of San Luis (Missouri). Cahokia Historic Site Cahokia is the largest site related to the Mississippian culture, which developed an advanced society in eastern North America before the arrival of Europeans. The Cahokia Mounds were designated and listed as a National Historic Landmark on July 19, 1964, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 15, 1966.
